I have the animated prequel and it's almost SICKER than the live action movie. It really helps explain how fucked up ICHI is.

...while we're on the subject, I love Ricki-o too. (the story of Ricky) same kinda movie without all the rape.

Favorite part of ICHI:

AWSOME FUCKING MOVIE!.. did you see the movie version of the prequel? I own it but does not compare to orig. ichi. sounds like the animated version was pretty good though. also while on the subject have you seen battle royale 1 or 2? great gore and original/twisted storyline!

Never saw the movie version of the prequel no, although i can't imagine it could be any worse than the animated one. The animated one is NOT a good movie, it is incredibly disturbing though, and really sets the stage for Ichi. I have seen the battle royal series. Pretty good stuff.... also fairly disturbing.

gotta love the death toll countdowns in the B.R. series its like counting down to new years day with slightly more blood!

I totally forgot about the entire series until you just mentioned em. All the little girls seem so inappropriate for such a gory movie.

agreed..the girl who starts out w/ the frying pan in the 1st one is pretty memorable. she ends up getting an oozi and slaughtering mofo's just for the fuck of it!
