Shawn: you got any video's of your playing? Maybe playing along with a BDM song, or maybe a Dillinger song? I am not trying to be a dick, i just know when i read a post like this i would be a lot more likely to reply or tell some band i know in need of a drummer about you.. IF you had videos to back up what your saying.
Again, i am not saying you can't play like this, but if your gonna list all those bands as influences, why dont you show you can play like em?

Dude, I know who this kid is -- don't waste your time. He is a nice kid, but his brain is all done. He will not remember anything but the simplest riffs.
