This high school coach out of Piedmont, CA is working on a new type of offense called A-11. Here's the basics of it:
You have a center flanked by two tight ends.
Three receivers to the right.
Three receivers to the left.
TWO quarterbacks in the backfield.
The idea behind it is that it would confuse the shit out of the defense because almost anyone on the field could be a receiver. Potentially all eleven players could be eligible receivers. The team that invented this went 7-3 with all seven wins coming consecutively.
I don't endorse this offense at all, and I definitely don't think it would work in the NFL. I just think it's neat.
Man to man on 6 wide receivers would still leave one of the quarterbacks and both tight ends un-covered.... but then yeah with a 5 man pass rush who the hell is blocking? You put a guy like Richard Seymour up against something like this and he's going to end the game with 52 sacks.
