i can't think of any time i didn't have a shitty experience post-2003. every time i go i end up coming back thinking how much i would rather have spent that 10 bucks on the DVD release.

I'm with you on this. I have no desire to ever go to the theater to see a movie. Reasons cited:

Theater
Has: loud minorities and other annoying fucking people, and rules such as "must wear pants".
Does not have: pause button, beer, drugs, comfortable couch.

My house
Has: pause button, beer, drugs, comfortable couch, large rear-projection TV
Does not have: aforementioned annoying people, rules (I never wear pants at home).

Case closed. Theater = FAIL.

AWESOME.

It was a good movie. Rogen always makes me laugh and the other characters were funny too. It definitely had its flaws, but most people will probably enjoy this a lot.

This was good, not amazing, but really good. Films like this make me optimistic about the direction that comedy is going in.

My chief complaint is that the over-the-top action scenes (while intentionally over the top) eventually became too much. Seth Rogan has outstanding timing and delivery. That's what I came to see in this movie, not a 20 minute battle scene full of explosions and slapstick comedy.

And I'm very pleased that Craig Robinson (the black guy) found his way into the film. That dude is hilarious, and this was a great role for him. I hope it's the first of many film roles for the guy.

really liked this flick. in addition to the pot humor i was impressed with the level of violence and gore.

i have no complaints for this movie, other than i couldn't smoke while in the actualy theater, it was pretty damn funny.
