So the last couple of months, I've been trying to cut my cholesterol without going on meds. Yes, I am old and my genes suck -- blood pressure and cholesterol are high. Oatmeal most mornings and eating alot of chicken and fish for lunch and dinner.
So last night I cheated with about a 2 1/2" thick Chairmen's Reserve New York strip steak, cooked on the grill on medium low, so it was almost roasted to medium rare awesomeness. Washed down with Longhammer IPA.
steaks are indeed some of the most tasty food out there. I like cooking them on an open fire in the woods.
my favorite steak though is that of human flesh..
