A couple years ago I cracked open whatever cd of theres it was that every hardcore kid had to have in 2001. I don't even remember the name of it. I listened to a couple tracks and all I could think was "what the fuck was the big deal about this?"

Nerdy was an awesome song. I dug The Opposite of December and the stuff before, even their old split LP with Promise No Tomorrow when they were known as An Acre Lost. Last thing I heard from them was You Come Before You, it's not bad, but I'm more of a fan of the older stuff.

I don't listen to "Opposite.." much...the three records following it though are better IMHO.

The poison the well signer came from "Harvest" right? Cause Back in the old haad-coa days i really liked harvest. heavy for the scene they were in.

Nope, Harvest was from the midwest and I don't think Dave Walker did anything after they broke up, although the drummer started The Hope Conspiracy. PTW's from Florida. They had a different singer when they were An Acre Lost, but Jeff Moreira's been on every PTW record.

For the record, Harvest's entire catalog was awesome. Living With a God Complex was awesome, and Dave Walker's lyrics were always awesome.

PTW had two singers on their first release, right?

yeah, living with a god complex was real real good. Huh.. i guess i just thought it was him cause of the time PTW started right after harvest finished. and because it sounded just like him. anywho, miss that band.... well kinda, probably wouldnt listen to them now, but they were great when i was 14.

The "Distance..." EP? Yes, their original singer from when they were An Acre Lost and some dude named Duane.
