i tryed numerous times to beat this with my friend and just couldnt do it. great soundtrack too

I liked Panic on Funkotron a bit more than the first one.
I always rented the first one and played it with my brother. It never had the book in the case so we always meandered around and didn't know what the hell we were doing.

Just beat the first one with my buddy last month.
Absolutely love that game; one of my top 10. Panic kind of sucked.
NEVER played the 3rd one for dreamcast. Anyone play it?

the games are ok but I have more appreciation for the soundtrack for the second game which actually has a version that a band is playing, and it rules.

p.s. it was a pain to find it but the album is by John Baker.

The first one has a classic code. If you go to Random World (I think - it may be Fixed World) and go all the way to the left and down on level 1, there's a small island with a hole in the middle. Fall down the hole and you're on level 0. You can drink free lemonade, dance with the girls, and even get in a pool with naked girls. best part of the game.

So many people say SNES is better than Sega Genesis. I love both systems. TJ&E is one of those beloved games for Sega that reinforces the fact that Sega had some extremely fun and classic games. It's a shame Sega is now making games for Nintendo - I miss the war between Sega and Nintendo. The Sony/Microsoft/Nintendo war isn't as exciting.

I like SNES too, but sega had way more classics and just on the whole better games.

everything about TJ&E is original (or was at the time) - the whole concept of the game, the enemies, the idea of random presents, the funky music, the random background images on each elevator ride, etc.

Best bad guy = group of chickens with old military helmets on shooting tomatoes out of a cannon. Actually, wait, best bad guy is the flock of nerds that somehow trample you. better yet, the guy mowing his lawn smoking a cigar that freakishly reminds me of Karl from ATHF.

I think amazon, it was like 9 bucks. Best 9 bucks I ever spent. You can get them that work for other controllers too, but IMO the playstation controller is the best ever made.

It's especially good for SNES roms.

Logitech made a joypad that was a complete rip off of the PS controller.
