leukorrhea fuckin kicked ass

dissector: they had some issues with their bass so after te first song, the bassplayer just put down his bass and sang. this was only their 3rd show, but they played through the difficulties. They had a bunch of slayer/morbid angel riffs with black-metal singing. I hear they have a lusting for some zombies too.

teratism: they played an awesome set. It's great that these guys are back together and playing out. they are recording new stuff wich rocks too. Their recording for the new CD has been pushed back 6 weeks. That means it won't be out for a while... Scott (right guitar/vocals) thanked everyone, including me!

leukorrhea: they played the most amount of songs. all brutal 2-minute-ish songs. They had an issue with the bass and had to feed it straight through the board. it was odd then cause the bass and guitar had to switch sides of the stage. this was odd cause then the guitar speaker was behind the bassplayer. sort of threw me off for a few songs. But I quickly forgot about that.

bane of existence: longest boe set ever... they played a ton of songs (almost 45 minutes). It was so much fun. I kept looking at the clock and then think "Args!!! it's so late!", but then I didn't want them to stop. During one of the songs, I got over behind to snap some shots of mike (drummer). he lost 2-sticks right in a row and started cracking up. I thought they were going to end with cankerous (sp?), but they didn't. I actually got a request for that boe song on last weeks show. they played apocalyptic, subjugate, and ended with a song dedicated to me and joen/c, my personal fav Solace in the arms of the dead.
oh.. and double exposing cause jim to be playing doug's "guitar"

I Am Hating Life

I was there and it was awesome:

8pm: hot dogs at spikes with Terence, Blue and Mike of Existence.
9pm: Ryan and Kevin from Phantom Limb arrive, Ryan seems strangely taller and had chunks of baby in his teeth.
9:15pm: Dissector starts, good blackened death thrash, minus the bass which shit the bed early on. Good band, the bassist just became a vocalist that night, but still moved a little which was cool. I want to see them again and I will because I book shows.
9:55 pm: Teratism played and it was one of the best sets I have seen from these guys. They were also the only band with no technical difficulties of any kind. I love this band, and I got their T shirt. I will be wearing it saturday, so everyone can know how good it looks.
11:05 Leukorrhea got on stage and a wall of heaviness killed everyone up front. I liked their older songs better then the newer songs, but still all good stuff from these guys. They brought some hot girls with them, which alwayss livens up O'Briens now that Tamilla is gone.
12:05 Bane of Existence headlined this extravaganza, and were really good. They opened with Denounced, and it took that song for Doug's vocals to get prepped, cuz he sounded way better on every other song they played thereafter. Mike kept dropping drum sticks I guess, I only noticed something wrong during Iconoclast and Cankerous, but it was enough to make Mark from Gut want to fight them cuz those are his favorite songs.

Holy shit that was a great show. Thanks to everyone from RTTP and this message board for coming out. Besides the bass shit we had a great time and all the bands tore the place up. It'll be cool to maybe come back sometime or do more shows up in the Boston area. Thanks again guys!

just watched the video of our that yeti joe taped man we played for almost 50min thats the longest set we have ever done we did our whole cd minus 1 song but played a newish one "thy scars undone"
we were a little rough here and there but i have to say it was a great FUN set.
sorry i didn't do the surprise basicly i was gonna not do the second solo in soild heart and insted play that piano as the solo but when i looked at the keys they were all broke and sticky looking so i decided not to do it sorry.

oooh, exiting show. the veggie dog at spikes was quite nice. dissector impressed me, seeing as it was a few rather young looking guys playing damn good for their age, id like to see them again. teratism destroyed, because they always do. me and joe are gonna be matching tomorrow. leukorrhea was good minus the not hearing bass. id like to see more movement from them. and as usual, boe rocked my small caucasian cock. mmmm, i want a cd dammit.

Yeah, we ran into a few problems last night. It wasn't our best but we pulled it together. On our recordings we have a lot more lower vocals, but our singer's lows weren't coming out so strong so he did it mostly all highs. Same with our guitarists vocals, you couldnt really hear the pitched shifted ones. We usually sound a lot less black metal.

Thanks to everyone who saw us, it was a fun night.

What a show!! Thanks to all the bands. Nice improvisation by Dissector, at least the bass player had a lot of anger to put into his singing! Teratism always kicks my ass, but this time my necklace stayed on! My watch fell off during their set, but it didn't break. It was great to see Leukorrhea for the first time. And surpsise...Bane of Existence rocked. That's definitely my favorite night of the month. Is it the first Thursday of March yet?
