so i just reported this to myspace. turns out people are posing as booking companies to get contact information from bands. not too sure what they are doing with it but, here, see for youself...

i responded to this message saying that i dont give out my personal info, if they could send the info over myspace or email, wed be happy to consider the offer. she said that she wouldnt send the info over the internet that she only dealt with bands over the phone. i just said fuck it. then we got this message about a month later and i realized it was a bit of a scam.

kinda weird. but i figured id let you guys know, ignore show offers from someonesnamebooksshows or booksbands. its all bs.

we got emails like those but usually ignore them unless they're people we've actually heard of or have dealt with before.

its funny, at work we have to get the federal tax ID number from the body shops for the insurance companies. and lots of times when its a smaller shop the guy just uses his social as the federal tax id. half the guys go, "oh yea its the same thing as my social" SO STOOPID
