From Lambgoat.com:

Chicago/Minneapolis metal band Dead To Fall has broken up. Formed in 1999, the group has released several albums with Victory Records and undergone more line-up changes than we care to count. Singer Jonathan Hunt comments:

"Well, this is weird to say. Dead To Fall broke up last Saturday night. I guess the years of drama and tension wore away at us until it all came to an explosive halt. While on the third day of the Super Massive Fist tour, things just erupted. This isn't me talking shit about any of the members of the band, and I won't be starting any drama. This is just saying we went home and the band is done. I knew it would happen someday, just not so soon after 'Are You Serious?' came out. Logan has been the main force behind the guitars for the past few years and after he violently quit we all decided it just doesn't make sense to do yet another line-up change. I have no idea if we are doing a last show, it doesn't look like we are. It's all really surreal, and I'm still processing the whole insane thing. To all the friends I have met in my time with Dead To Fall, I want to thank you for being amazing, loving, and caring people. I will not forget and I have no regrets."

Haha...

I liked that first disc for a month or so and some of work on that pheonix record. Otherwise I was bored as hell with this band.

Even live just something about them was...boring.

And yeah I'm calling that this band will reform when they cool down in a few weeks.

seems like they edited the post...

Chicago/Minneapolis metal band Dead To Fall has broken up. Formed in 1999, the group has released several albums with Victory Records and undergone more line-up changes than we care to count. Singer Jonathan Hunt comments:

""Dead to Fall is no more. After 9 years, it's time to say good-bye. There really isn't an easy way to say this, but the Dead To Fall machine broke beyond repair this last weekend. I guess the financial, personal, and emotional strains wore some of us down and caused a violent collapse. After a show in Wisconsin, Logan and Chad quit this past weekend. I won't go into the whole 'behind the music band break up scenario' but it was a night filled with retarded actions and words. The rest of us don't want to go through yet another major line-up change and really are just ready for a new chapter in our lives. The Super Massive Fist tour with Impending Doom, Arsonists Get All the Girls and Sea of Treachery is continuing on without us. We have no idea if we are going to play a last show or not, but at this point there is nothing planned. It's all so surreal, I have spent a good portion of my life touring in DTF and life without it is going to be...interesting. It's like breaking up with 4 girlfriends you work with the day your place of employment burns down. I'm going to miss it for sure. Keep your eyes open for future projects from all of us, and make sure you go to the super massive fisting tour and check it out. 'end this band with a fucking breakdown'"
