Yeah...he wanted me to start a band with him but I was convinced he didnt exist because everytime I tried to set up a jam or practice with him, he would never show. Also, on his myspace, every picture of him had his face blackened out. My old drummer and I had this theory that he was a ghost or something haha

hah. Let me tell you about him. He told us he's been playing for 10 years or something like that, has good equipment, and gives guitar lessons for a job. Took about two weeks for him to finally show up through a ride from his dad, and when he got there he pulled out his guitar with no case or gig bag and a little Line 6 1x12 combo. Already not off to a great start, not to mention he was wearing a long sleeve in 90 degree whether and smelled like a sewer. So we get into the band room and run through the set just so he can see what we're all about, and he gets all excited and stuff. He decided he wanted to learn Chainsaw Facelift first, which is good because it's one of our easiest songs to learn and play. Kid couldn't even get the opening riff. We sat there for a couple hours trying to teach him the song, and he just couldn't get it. And it's not even like "yeah you'll get it soon man" that kid wasn't even close. Thank god we could barely hear him when we decided to go through the whole thing. So we left and thought maybe he was nervous or something. So he came back a few weeks later all pumped up cuz he said he had Chainsaw Facelift down perfect. Wrong. Still had no idea what he was doing, and the kid wasn't even that great at guitar. If he's been playing for 10 years he should be a lot better than he was and be able to catch on to riffs and shit a lot faster, especially if he's giving lessons. If he is indeed giving lessons, then I think we're coming to a generation of guitarist that have no idea what they're doing.

^He claimed he had 2 JCM2000's....then he fabricated interviews with metal magazines that do not exist, claiming to be the frontman of this band "Genocide", a slayer tribute, that toured all over MA...but every venue he named, like the magazines, did not exist. He claimed to be the host for all these metal events at said non-existant venues, and like the venues they were held at, did not exist.

Then he says to me that he decided not to join OTB because you were "unreliable" LOL

That's funny. If by two JCM2000's he means a Line 6 1x12 combo, then he's spot on. And if by him not wanting to join because we're unreliable means us not wanting him in the band and telling him that we decided to stay a four piece (even though we're a five piece again), then he's spot on again. He told us he was in some thrash band that covered "Post Mortem" and it actually sounded good, but his name wasn't anywhere on there.

Then again, I kinda feel bad for the kid now. Must be hard for him to make any friends. But then again...don't really care cuz that's not the best way to go about getting in bands.

You were right, he's a fucking machine. Funny thing, me, him and the vocalist were talking about Porphyria and how Timmy needs to come back and stuff, and they gave me a free Malignancy beer cozy.

Also turns out the vocalist for Psytoxia was playing bass for Tentacle last night, it was pretty sweet. Show was awesome.
