I dont think its the music that ruins the scene. personally i like every one of the bands you've listed. I do agree with the idea of some of the fans being "faggots" But I think it goes with every type of music. some metal people are assholes just as much as some hxcx kids. So my opinon is like what you like and let others like what they like.I think a lot of metal bands can get extremely boring, for instance morbid angel and let say autopsy both bands i think are the most boring thing ever, doesnt mean they are bad. Same goes with hardcore, ill take bury your dead for example they are basically the same thing over and over but to me its enjoyable. I dont think you can openly hate one type of music.

point- metal bands have the ultimate breakdowns, part of the reason why they are ultimate is that most dont' have a breakdown every 3 seconds, therefore making you wait for it which makes me appreciate it more.

To be honest, mmost HxCx breakdowns are the same. You want good breakdowns, look at a lot of death metal. Skinless has rediculous breakdowns that'll crush your face. As does Dying Fetus.

once again it's "metalcore" that is making breakdowns in to a bunch of judjud boredom. There's alot of great hardcore bands out there coming up with sick breakdowns but the consensus among alot of metalcore bands seems to be that all you need is a palm muted E chord with some goofy melodic shit in between, that and Unearth won't mind you borrowing their riffs. In death metal you just can't get away with that.
It's not that I don't love big thick breakdowns. And it's not that i don't love the sound of a palm muted E chord, but if after years of playing guitar the only riff you can come up with is a new pattern of Firestorm then it's time to pull your head out of your ass....i never have anything good to say.

all that i have to say is if you like "Breakdowns, and slams" litsen to Devourment or repudilation.

Metal bands: good breakdowns every three songs and solos in between
Hardcore Bands: good breakdowns every thirty seconds or so with less solos
Metalcore: breakdowns at the end of every song and solos all through it
