Hey, I just got a used Sega Genesis and I'm fucking psyched. What are some games you all recommend I pick up?

The dude who sold it to me also gave me Sonic 1 and Madden '94, so those will keep me busy for a little while, but I want to get many more.

Some other ones I already know I plan on buying are Street Fighter II, all 3 Mortal Kombat games, Altered Beast, Gunstar Heroes.. so don't bother recommending those because I'm already getting them.

You should play Golden Axe 3. It only came out in Japan, but i found a emulator for it. You can be this fucing Blue Minotaur looking guy, totally awesome.

Sonic the Hedgehog was probably the only game I really liked playing on Sega when I was little. We had a few others, mostly ones based on movies: The Lion King, Toy Story, Pagemaster (that old Macauly Culkin animated movie with the books), Batman Forever.....maybe a couple more.
We didn't have games like Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat, I was no good at them; I could never figure out how to do any special attacks. I'd figure out how to punch and kick and just use those, and end up getting killed!

Never really a fan, to tell you the truth. More of a Dragon Quest (Dragon Warrior)/Final Fantasy guy, as far as old-school console RPGs. Maybe some Ultima here and there.

General Chaos was the shit. I know games grew up, and we got awesome battle games like Command & Conquer out of it, but I still wish there was a 2007 version of GC somewhere.
