I'm starting to get a good tapping technique down, but from what I've seen from some of the bassists on this forum, I know there's a lot of bassists that do a lot of tapping these days. Any good techniques you have or ideas to help me get a bit better at it?
For me, just having a round sound with lots of mids is half the battle. Other than that, I'm still working on it myself, so let me know if you figure something out.
all you have to do is learn 2 or 3 basic tapping patterns, and start doing them extremely slow. as you get better try incorporating different patterns together (at slow speeds still). itll take you a while but youll get it.
