New site? Maybe some day.

That place is awesome. I was just in there looking around at all the buildings & hangers. I then drove past some active coast guard station and started off-roading through the woods. Made it out to the half-mile wide former blimp landing mat where the huge radar station is. This thing is surrounded with brand new barbed wire fencing and is being fed power by semi-new telephone poles. It was humming loudly and is clearly still in use, which is odd since the base closed in 97.

live gay.
The government is notorious for:
1) lying
2) leaving everything turned on. |
I used to live right near there before they closed it down. The air shows used to be awsome.
They've said they were going to do a zillion things with the land in the past 10 years including some queer supermall. |
The plans are solidified now.

Entrance is totally redone and finished now. They've torn down a few buildings and are putting some up. They're also carving up the north-south runway.
The east-west runway is still being used by professional driving schools. If you go to Union St. in Weymouth you will see car's floor it down the runway and then slam on the breaks over and over again. |
Try going down there at night with your headlights off....dark as shit...fairly eerie. |
MSD, looking at that site, it will be full of chubby chasers |

wompatuk state park's old military section is a trip as well. used to be cool to explore the satanic bunkers and shit when i was a kid..they tore all that shit down but the remains would be a cool place to shoot a video or take pics. |

Yeah my friend goes down to Wompatuk quite a bit and takes photos. Looks like there's still some cool shit there. |
i grew up on the backside of the park in cohasset. there are a few bunkers left--and some dilapitated installations in the old government section. back in the day, there was so much going on in that place it was crazy. its def been gentrified now..but on any given day in the summer, you can have level 3 sex offenders in the 'camping section,' homosexuals soliciting meth and bj's, kids day trippin on acid etc. the place is great..and it remains to be one of the best places in the south shore to "grow." |
What was the official purpose of that base anyway? All I know is that there used to be NIKE missiles there a long time ago (so I've heard). |
at Rutland State Park you can visit old P.O.W. bunkers from like WWII. i've never been, but of the people i know who have, they say its a cool adventure. |

this has a good pic of most of all thats left....if you had a show out here it would be sick.....and just like, people would die...because it would be so utterly brootal n shit. |
the Nike silos are at Webb Park in North Weymouth |
A good chunk of the runway at South Weymouth NAS is now open to hospital parking. Just drove out there. Crazy. I want the snow to thaw though. |
