Moonspell is a terrible, terrible, wanna be vampire band. Moonsorrow is good music. big difference.

Moonspells early stuff was awesome.
Moonsorrow later stuff isn't as good as the earlier releases; maybe I'm a bitter old fan. I've lost interest in moonsorrow. :(

moonspell was a terrible band. I saw them opening for IN FLAMES on their 1st north American tour, they sucked big time balls.

I remember that show. wasn't impressed with them from a live standpoint.
I just liked when they had more folk elements in their music.
Moonsorrow on the other hand, were incredible when I saw them headline at the heathen crusade, but sucked at the palladium.

Secrets of the Moon, Moon, Frostmoon, Lunar Aurora > most other moon bands, even moonblood but beeleze would murder me for saying that because he only likes kvlt shit he can download so he can troll people

I agree totally. When they played the In Flames show i mentioned in this thread, the power went out during their set, and my whole section cheered when it happened. They dedicated the set to all of the vampires in the crowd. And they meant it. Faggots.

Honestly, if you haven't heard their first 2 albums, they are way better. Everything else I've heard made me go limp.

Moonspell's "Wolfheart" and "Irreligious" are the only things i've heard from them that didn't make me want to vomit. those two albums are awesome though. live they were boring as fuck, i saw them open for Opeth, and i think Type O Negative one time.
