The standing punishment for not showing up for a game in my campaign is (in theory) an attack by the ninja owlbear squad. The ninja owlbears are armed with jetpacks and flamethrowers. So far it's been an idle threat, but one of these days I'm going to stat out those mothers and throw'em at my players, just to see what kind of reaction I get.
