So we (the_Network) were practicing tonight and started talking about how rad patches are and we decided we need some for our tour starting next friday.

We have the designs all set but we need someone skilled in the art of crust punk patch making to give this snake devil some form of actualality.

If anyone can help us out here please get in touch asap as we leave next friday for tour and were hoping to have these ready for then. Like I said we have the designs but just need some one to print these.

where looking for 50 of the BMA one and 50 of one of the other ones...

how do you use a copy machine for this?

it would be expensive to produce color copies, but if you made those images grey scale, you can buy iron-on transfer paper at wallmart (10 bucks for like 20 sheets) and a couple yards of whatever color fabric you want.

throw the transfer sheets in a copy machine, iron them on to the fabric, and cut them out.

This is how I made the TYAG patches.

I was gonna say I could burn it onto a screen and pump some out for you, but those designs would be way to complicated to produce by hand.

So I think we are going to go with just the BMA logo, the other ones are kinda wierd for patches anyway.
Do you think you could lend a helping hand here and make these.

I tried the whole iron transfer thing and they dont do that at staples or anywhere else, the paper jams there machines or something....so I kinda hit a dead end by doing it myself.

do this, go to a crafts store (ac moore in newington) and get a T-shirt screen kit. they are like $25 for the stuff and one screen. you preint ou thte design and use a light bulb to burn it. Then you just use it like crazy. it's very easy. I think the screen takes an hour to burn.


If you want to me more brootal, go to a thriftstore and buy a bunch of junk jeans to cut up and screen on.

i dont recommend doing this urself if you are in a rush and never have. its kinda hard to get it right.

Yeah, I'd realy like someone that has already gone through the pain of figuring this out to do it for us, just because it is kinda a last minute thing and cant really dedicate any real time to this right now myself. I did just send an email to that feller above about doing these for us though, hopefully something works out here...patches are so key when you ain't got no money, they make poor look hip.

you should at least make the_netwrork logo patches, just making BMA patches is kinda silly. everybody and their mother knows what BMA is, its the word of the_network that you gotta spread.

yeah, agreed blue, you the smartest....I still havent seen an e mail from the guy above so things are still in limbo. But when we do do them I want some network logo ones also.
