So I finally found a copy of the new KD on the net and it is pretty damn good, each song has it own catchyness to it. The only problem with the version I found is that it has that stupid voice every few minutes saying "your listening to the new KD blah blah blah". but if you want to check it out its at torrentman.com

KD coming out with another solid release. a ton of good riffs on this disk so far, the story line seems pretty sweet.

Yeah I can't stop listening to it even though it has the stupid voice overs with a british accent. Andy's lead guitar work on this album is amazing! The songs the floating head and cold as ice are some of the best on the album...

Yeah, I got a copy of this album about a week ago. Definitely King's best work in over ten years. My main complaint with house of god, voodoo, etc... was that his voice has been getting weaker over the years. Well, I guess Gimme Your Soul Please has proven me very, very wrong.

And I agree with Dan, Andy Laroque is fucking awesome on this album.

p.s. - I feel bad for you guys, there's no cheesy voice-overs on the version I have.

Musically I might agree, but the vocals on that disc turned me off pretty bad. The story was awesome, but I think I enjoyed reading the lyrics far more than listening to the album.

I still need to hear this. As for King's vocals I thought the Puppet Master was a very strong showing for him. Musically though, Voodoo is the sickest KD album since Conspiracy.

fucking awesome album. There's alot of Mercyful Fate on it, especially in the Floating Head. I think the single is the weakest track. Not a shit ton of falsettos but King really has some incredible tempos and melodies, in general I think it's his best produced album. If you don't like this, you don't like King Diamond.
Favourites - The Cellar, Gimme Your Soul, Girl in the Bloody Dress, Moving On.
2007 has been a great year for new releases.

this album absolutely rules. all you guys who got a pirated copy should pick up the actual CD. don't you want to support the king?

King Diamond hasn't released a good album since before I escaped the womb.

I used to just steal and download everything. Nowadays, I ALWAYS pick up an actual copy of the album if it's good. I just bought the latest Mastodon, even though I've had it since before it was released. Same with the newest Mars Volta. I WILL be picking up the new king, but probably not for a couple weeks. It's bill time.

Buy this album, it's amazing.

Definitely my favorite since Conspiracy. I've listened to this a billion times, and I still can't get over how fucking awesome the guitars sound. It's like you can hear Andy LaRoque grinning.
