This track is off of Holy Roman Empire’s highly anticipated debut album, The Longue
Durée, which hits stores on June 5th. Fader.com said, “I suggest you keep an eye on
this exuberant five-piece because you will no doubt be hearing their name again very
soon.” We couldn’t agree more. Additionally, beginning Tuesday, May 22nd, the fine
folks at Absolutepunk.net will be exclusively streaming four more brand new Holy Roman
Empire tunes. Mark your calendars! The Longue Durée is also ready for pre-orders

Holy Roman Empire will also be sharing the stage alongside Rise Against, Silverstein,
and Comeback Kid this summer! Hitting up both the United States and Canada, Holy Roman
Empire couldn’t be more excited. Jay Jancetic, guitarist for Holy Roman Empire, said,
“We are not only excited to finally get on the road and play our new songs for
people, but we're ecstatic to be on tour with Rise Against. We realize how fortunate we
are to be part of this lineup. Rise Against are not only good friends, but simply said

And, in case you’re not familiar, Holy Roman Empire combines influences like The Cure,
Sunny Day Real Estate, and Hum with it’s members’ core roots in Rise Against, The
Hope Conspiracy, Shai Hulud, and Arma Angelus to create their own trademark
female-fronted post- hardcore sound. Vocalist Emily Schambra lends her voice to Rise
Against's The Sufferer & The Witness, which is an impressive introduction to those who
hadn't previously heard Holy Roman Empire. While many insist the underground music
scene has grown stagnant over the past several years, Holy Roman Empire is dead-set on
leaving its mark on the art form as the band harkens back to the grandiose and
ebullient sounds of the aforementioned genre-defining bands, while managing to chisel
their own niche into such fine company.
