this is my first time outside all day. it's fucking sick!

I surfed a lot when I still lived in Newport (grew up there)

Now that I have weekends off, I may make a trek or two down there next time its chest or bigger...

it's wizzid awesome out. i was driving around.

Gorgeous. I walked around by the Hudson river for an hour and a half. It's not quite as nice looking (or smelling) as walking along the Charles...

is it 3-2 season yet? I dont fit in my 5-4 anymore nor do I have boots/gloves...

Don't surf -- fished yesterday though and got a 21" 3lb landlocked salmon while dodging the icebergs.

I need to try on my wetsuit again. I haven't used it for 6 years. it's only 7 mil. sort of cold out there for that.

What part of the Hudson?

Chelsea area. Around 16-34th streets.

I've always wanted to try surfing, I have a shitty skimboard though which is good for a bit of fun. If I could get a cheap surfboard I'd go to Newport for sure, I only live a couple bridges away.
