Should I say it now, or wait until after the show to mention that I was pushing Wisdom in Chains on people 2 years ago and no one wanted to listen to me.

You're right... I'll wait.

so...uh doors at 7?

toggletoggle post by Niccolai   at Apr 20,2007 2:34pm
Doors are usually advertised as being open at 7, and bands at 8.

Usually they end up opening up and starting a little late though.

kids cant lose, the: dave's (from death before dishonor) other band with the energy dudes. It was pure pop-punk. this was only their second show ever. 3 songs? but they did a cover at the end where the singer ran around in the crowd and tboner got up all in that mic.

this place is already getting hot. it's going to be steaming by 11:30 when have heart goes on.

new lows: I could hear more of the integrity sound in here. Definitely one of my new favorite bands. I really hope they sound that good on CD. Though, I wonder how long til there is a burn out on bands that sound like integrity. They ony had one dancer for them. Sad.

downhill fast: since the drummer of new lows is their drummer, the switch up as pretty fast. everyone stood around like something was going to happen, but nothing ever did. jimmy flynn put a fake gun to his head over and over again.

before they started the room started to stink of vomit. Not just vomit, but more like someone vomited into a skillet and then it was fried into a vomit pancake. Not pleasent.

wisdom in chains: these guys were really awesome. It was like a modernized bruisers. Sort of drunk punk, sort of misanthropic, but not preachy or like blood for blood. Just good and fun music. Everyone was singing along to every song and it made me wish I had their CD so I could have joined in. I wished someone had told me about this band or even mentioned them ever to me. Scanning my memory, I can think of a single person who's even so much as mentioned this band to me ever. Nope, not a single time. since no one has mentioned them, I will right now.anyone who digs the bruisers or blood for blood should really like this band.

trust in few: girls love this band. The minute they set up, everyone's gf and/or sister filed out of TIF's dressing room and around the stage. I knew their set was going to be a party, but I didn't know just what knd of a party it was until the confetti and beach balls came out. I kept getting hit in the head by beachballs the floor was set up for disaster. I doubt it's getting picked up at any point either. People were slipping and sliding as they moshed. falling down is going to be the theme of the night. another band of sing-alongs.
