does anyone watch this? i dont regularly, but i have caught a few episodes. Bear Grylls is a fucking maniac. i caught the one on the Kenyan Savannah and he was showing how if you are desperate for water, you can squeeze the liquid out of fresh elephant dung. and yes, he did it. it was fucking nasty. i'd rather die than drink fresh squeezed elephant shit juice.

Yeah, I've seen a couple of episodes. That guy is fucking nuts... but I guess you do what you gotta do to survive... or do what you gotta do to show people how they could survive were they actually in peril.

I can't help but wonder about how the film crew get by while all this is going on. I doubt they'd be made to rough it like he does.

I drink elephant shit juice all the time... aka the free coffee at work.

i saw this guy do a backflip off a helicopter into the middle of the ocean, bite a living fish in the spine to kill it because he couldnt make a fire, swim across a bay filled with icebergs in alaska and then do pushups on the other side to get his blood flowing again.

ya i watched this guy:catch fish with his bare hands,kill and eat a ton of snakes, build an oven to cook the ifsh he caught,pee on a shirt then wear it on his face to keep himself cool,drink water from a muddy puddle,get himself stuck in quicksand and pulled himself out intentionally and a whole host of other crazy shit and i only been watching for like a month now

Last time I stayed @ Liz's place in Brooklyn we watched it.

I fuckin love that show. Like when he fell into the iceberg filled water in Alaska... and somehow didnt die. BRUTAL!!

This guy is crazy. His military experience alone puts him in the upper echelon of the worlds toughest bastards.

That show is awesome but I think "Survivorman" is a little more realistic. On that show, the dude goes out by himself and films everything so he can't do half of the crazy ass shit Bear does. If you did half of the stuff Bear does in the wild, you'd probably break some bones or kill yourself. All good stuff though.
