just got this in the mail yesterday, 63 minutes of agonizing doom. seriously, this shit is fucking deep. its slightly different than Disembowelment, there arent any of those crazy ass blast change ups, its more along the lines of Mournful Congregation or Shape of Despair. this drones along like molasses, robbing your soul of what little light was left in it. the production is fucking awesome, you can hear everything crystal clear. Evoken epitomizes ultra-doom. for any prospective or hardened doomologist, this is the album to get. 9.6

Evoken own, that's all there is to it, I still prefer Embrace the Emptiness over their other releases, but they've never released anything bad

I agree evoken are awesome, I think The album Yeti mentioned is the best. I just got the re-released ETE Cd from Solitude Productions along with 4 other funeral Doom albums. we have them in our merch box for sale if anyone is interested. . I will be getting a lot more from them as well on the next trade. The Antethisis of Light was good, But I thought the production could have been better.

yetti, if you haven't heard them yet, I would strongly reccomend Loss from Tennessee, they are bleak assed Doom of the most suicidal and bleak kind. We toured with them last year and they fucking slay! There is a link to them on shroud's myspace top 25 if you are interested
