toggletoggle post by xanonymousx at Mar 2,2007 1:41pm
Bane is at the VFW in Nashua on Saturday too.
i might be at that one since the weather sucks.

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Mar 2,2007 1:44pm
I'm hoping it doesn't get canceled

toggletoggle post by anonymous at Mar 2,2007 2:58pm
why would it get canceled?

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Mar 2,2007 3:12pm
cause of the weather. it's terrible up here

toggletoggle post by todayistheday nli at Mar 2,2007 3:13pm
its only raining in MA....

toggletoggle post by todayistheday nli at Mar 2,2007 3:13pm
oh do you mean the show tommorow?

toggletoggle post by futurebreed   at Mar 2,2007 3:36pm
I'm there =]

toggletoggle post by anonymous at Mar 2,2007 4:11pm
rev its rain here, plus if you remember the bane 10th anniversary show, it was like a blizzard out in MA and it wasn't even canceled. i'm just debating on whether or not i should go tonight, i'd have to leave within a few minutes.

toggletoggle post by todayistheday nli at Mar 2,2007 4:12pm
leaving in prob an hour

toggletoggle post by anonymous at Mar 2,2007 4:16pm
did you pay for tickets in advance? because you may not be able to get in if not.

toggletoggle post by todayistheday nli at Mar 2,2007 4:18pm
no ..last time i went to converge there i went early and there was nobody there..and i dont feel like standing in the rain

toggletoggle post by anonymous at Mar 2,2007 4:21pm
oh thats pretty weird, i went to a guns up! show in septemberish, they turned away about half the line and it was packed as hell.

toggletoggle post by intricateprocess   at Mar 2,2007 4:23pm
oh fuccck thats tonight? shit oh well, I really wanted to see the geeks

toggletoggle post by todayistheday nli at Mar 2,2007 4:23pm
well the show was packed...just nobody showed up early before doors

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Mar 2,2007 4:28pm
I'm like 45 minutes away.

anon: I don't remember the bane 10th cause I was tied to the toilet with a stomach bug.

toggletoggle post by todayistheday nli at Mar 2,2007 4:29pm
ok..i guess ill leave now...better not have to pay meters in that parking lot

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Mar 2,2007 4:32pm
hm.. I didn't even think of that! I hope there are spots left for me.

dan, futurebreed, if you see eric/mike tell them ill be there.

toggletoggle post by Dankill at Mar 2,2007 5:14pm
Silly question: How many people can that place legally hold until the fire codes have to kick in?

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Mar 2,2007 6:15pm
maintain just plain, geeks next.

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Mar 2,2007 6:23pm
no one knows... probably 300-400.

maintain: they didn't really get much of a reaction from the crowd. The first band effect at most hardcore shows. The songs were good and the singer had some energy, but there was nothing reflecting back from the crowd so I can only assume that nobody knows them now and they will get better over time. The bassist looked really familiar.

there are like 20 photog's here so far.

toggletoggle post by succubus  at Mar 2,2007 6:40pm
you mean 20 people taking photos =)

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Mar 2,2007 8:13pm
same diff. they are no different that me.

geeks, the: they are taking a wicked looong time to set up. At this point there are like 300 photog's here. what are they here to see? I'm guessing bane, but right now, they are watching a band straight out of korea. Anyhow, after like an hour of delays, they finally got going. They started off with a cover... Some classic ock song, but no one can seem to remember what the song was. They had a lot of long pauses in between songs, but it gave the singer time to talk and tell the audience the chorus of the song. They played a minor threat cover and people went crazy. Around that time, I went to the other side of the stage and walked people side off the stage when they meant to stage dive. I heard they also did a youth of today cover, but I don't really know them.

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Mar 2,2007 8:24pm
ambition: they reminded me a lot of the last time I saw stretch armstrong. The vocals are more talking then screaming/singing. There is also a touch of rock to their music, but they do have break downs/two stepping parts. The new songs had a lot more olde rock sound to them. It was getting harder and harder to shoot during their set.

down to nothing: this band seemed to have a larger appeal to all the other bands. A hell of a lot more singing along, people stage diving and rolling over the crowd. Snapping pictures got exceptionally hard cause of all the people with their hands out-streched in the air. I got a lot of pictures of people in mid flight from the stage. the singer gave a speech about bane treating them well and being their influence.

And I stayed home.

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Mar 2,2007 10:30pm

toggletoggle post by RichHorror  at Mar 2,2007 10:57pm
What a paradox.

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Mar 2,2007 11:40pm
like the girl singer of children of bodom?

toggletoggle post by RichHorror  at Mar 2,2007 11:42pm
Or the girl guitarist. Or the girl bassist. Or the girl drummer.

toggletoggle post by todayistheday nli at Mar 3,2007 12:15am
wow that was one crazy show

Yeah, techy that's what I do most nights. It's better that way. Because when father sam gets drunk, he gets mean. He beats his family.

Shit, I've heard of these guys, that would have been cool to see a band from Korea.

toggletoggle post by anonymous at Mar 3,2007 11:38pm
bane have heart review?

toggletoggle post by xanonymousx at Mar 3,2007 11:42pm
give the man some time.
hes in CT right now.

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Mar 4,2007 12:45am
I set up my computer so I could talk my review to it... but it didn't initialize and I couldn't resd a script while driving...

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Mar 4,2007 3:03am
have heart: with all the youth of today covers and the singer's new ian mackaye hair cut, this club looked like the 80's and it was all awesome. seeing the singer x'ing up his hands on the side of the stage made the illusion that much better. I can't say that I've listened to the HH CD too much, but the sing alongs are easy. people were flipping over everything to get to the mic.

bane: well, every bane show is the best band show yet. people do rediculous things. no one realy gets hurt and they end with can we start again. then everyone goes home smiling.

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Mar 4,2007 12:26pm

toggletoggle post by futurebreed   at Mar 4,2007 1:22pm
There was one kid from Byfield taking pics, didn't catch his name though. His flash snapped in half during Bane's set. >.<

And there was someone in front of me taking pics but I've never seen the person before
