dominatus: I'm not sure who is still in the band from the last time that I saw them. I know the lead dude had (if I'm remembering correctly) long hair and played guitar for all but one of the songs. This time he just sang. Whether by the band's fault of by the sound guy's, the levels were all over the place. Well, the drums were constant, but the guitars and all the vocals. I think it had to do with the levels they were set to and the fact that the singer would sing close to the mics and the sound guy would change bring up the levels, then the singer would scream right into the mics and it would be super loud. Maybe the sound guy needs to bring a vocal compressor? Any how the guitars would change too. Then the sound went out of wack. But one of the guitarists had a bum cable. He replaced it during the second to last song. they announced that they were playing a new song (their newest in fact) and I thought "what are you doing! You don't end with a new song, you end with your best song" but then they proved that their newest song is their best song and that shut me up. Oh and they sound checked with a decapitated song.

I just freaking got home.

that sound guy almost seemed like he didnt know what he was doing....i dont even think he planned on doing a sound check, we had to ask him to do one, and even then we were not leveled properly

Oh man,this was one of the best metal thursdays EVER! Highlights for me included my sisters boyfriend buying me drink after drink after drink and so on, the Amon amarth cover from Dominatus(who caught my interest,love to hear more), Chris from Zircon joining in the Downfall pit,that really made my night! Jon from the Accursed knocking my sister in the head by accident, and so much more. The bands were fucking excellent! I had a incredible fucking time, 24 hours later my hangover is just starting to go away,work fucking sucked this morning!

what amon amarth song did they play? i went to check out this studio in worcester and wound up staying there for a couple hours so i missed the first 2 bands

I had to nap for a few hours today, getting home at 4am fucking sucks. I didn't go to class either because I'm a fuck-up.
