First off, thanks to everyone who made the trek up for the Metal Church show. Apparently their tour has been riddled with all sorts of problems, but this gig was great (execept for them being cut off before the encore because of a stupid sound curfew - which caused us to miss "Highway Star"). The show was a lot of fun.

Established band in the Boston MA USA area (specifically practices in Everett MA) seeks bassplayer

what we seek...

age 21+ (most band members are early to mid-20's)
skilled player (finger or pick)
someone who can practice in Everett MA 1-3 times a week (usually one or two times)
someone who is commited to playing bass (not a guitarist who plays bass on the side)
someone who can contribute to the rent of a practice space
someone who has their own transportation and good equipment
someone who can learn songs easily (ideally by ear) with minimal instruction
someone who is interested in contributing to writing music
someone interested in recording music (ideally has some recording experience)
someone who isn't an egomaniac and doesn't do any hard drugs

what we are offering...
- a chance to play in an established band which has released one album, is releasing an album soon, and should be recording in the near future
- a chance to play a metal festival in new york and shows in the ny/ new england area
- a chance to play shows internationally and possibly tour (played in Germany in 2006)
- the possibility of making some money in the future if the band is successful (at this point, this is not a paying gig)
