With its extreme gain, the ML-2 is the most potent and heavy distortion pedal ever created by BOSS. It easily delivers massive distortion and gain with heavy lows for playing Nu Metal, Grind Core, Industrial, Hard Core, or any genre that requires crushing sound. The ML-2's ferocious and biting tone will complement and cut through any blast beats your rhythm section can create.

The new road-tough ML-2 offers ultra-heavy distortion with a sharp-edged attack. A LOW control provides a heavy low frequency sound a la 7-string guitar or dropped tuning while the HIGH control gives you a screaming, metallic tone.

YYYYYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

gay

toggletoggle post by Sacreligion at Jan 19,2007 2:42pm
my metal zone and $300 amp sounds better than most people's rigs, imo

toggletoggle post by blue  at Jan 19,2007 2:53pm
i shall beg to differ.

i would rather hear a spider II halfstack than a metalzone through anything.

toggletoggle post by Sacreligion at Jan 19,2007 2:55pm
now that's harsh dude

i like to think i dial the tone in right, for whatever reason it sounds a lot warmer through my amp than i've heard through any other

toggletoggle post by Niccolai   at Jan 19,2007 3:06pm
I might buy that pedal just for the chasis and stick sonic maximizer pedal guts inside it so it will match my pedal board.

toggletoggle post by SteveOTB   at Jan 19,2007 3:13pm
I hope to god this is a joke.

Yup. Line 6 + EMGs = about as gross as you need to be.

toggletoggle post by tylerl  at Jan 19,2007 3:28pm
hahaha i thought this was gonna be a joke

toggletoggle post by Neverpurified  at Jan 19,2007 3:49pm
Metallica will probably endorse this on their next album

toggletoggle post by xanonymousx at Jan 19,2007 3:53pm
why did they have to call it "metal core"?
if i get this i will cross that name out and put a slayer sticker on it.

toggletoggle post by Niccolai   at Jan 19,2007 3:55pm
the thing is, I bet this would probably be a good boost pedal if it didn't say metalcore on it.

toggletoggle post by xanonymousx at Jan 19,2007 4:00pm
if it sounds good i will probably buy it....
they don't have a sound demo up on the site yet.

toggletoggle post by Niccolai   at Jan 19,2007 4:01pm
I imagine it's something like the metalzone, but with better EQ shaping, and a tiny bit more gain.

I think I might have to buy a pedals with genre names on them just for the hell of it.

BOSS Metal Core
BOSS Metal Zone
BOSS Blues Driver
DigiTech Grunge Distortion Pedal
DigiTech Death Metal Distortion Pedal

You get the idea. Where's my Tech Metal or Grindcore pedals?

toggletoggle post by xanonymousx at Jan 19,2007 5:00pm
i have the dod grunge pedal.... it worked nice.
i think digitech took over most of dod's pedals

If you want a grindcore pedal, buy a solid state crate head.

toggletoggle post by Cecchini   at Jan 19,2007 5:39pm
whooooops, somebody missed the trend by about 6 months!

toggletoggle post by diamond_dave  at Jan 19,2007 6:36pm
wow, i really thought was going to be a joke thread too.

BTW, Steve, the Blues Driver is a great boost pedal.

Is there a Boss Powerviolence pedal (PV-1) that sounds like a fart getting choked by a zombie?

toggletoggle post by yummy at Jan 19,2007 8:54pm
If this came out in 99 I probably would have been all over it.

toggletoggle post by immortal13 at Jan 21,2007 2:06pm
I'd rather use the distortion straight from a Dual Superlead or 5150 than use a pedal, not to mention I bet that thing is gonna be the same exact thing as the metalzone.

Actually, digitech owns DOD, that's why they came out with the same line of pedals. I personally think they still suck.

It comes with a commando hat and a child size GUNS N ROSES shirt.
