Anyone see this yet? I started reading the book a few days ago, and saw the movie tonight. I thought seeing the movie might ruin the book for me, but the first 15 minutes of the movie left out so much detail - reading the book is much more interesting; I'm sure the movie didn't give away too much for me.
The movie wasn't bad though, it was certainly worth going to see.

My wife wants to go see it. I'm cool with waiting for it on video.

The book is awful, derivative tripe, without really a single idea belonging to Paolini.

I have no interest in seeing the film.

Terrible movie. I can't believe I was convinced to waste 8 bucks.

I took my little brother to see it. I thought maybe it was from a Tolkien book id overlooked but someone told me later that some kid wrote it or something. I dont know. I didnt really like it but my brother dug it which is why i brought him so whatever.

I'm waiting for the scene where eragon and the dragon get it on.
