childhood nostalgia seems to be a pretty rampant theme in threads lately. it reminded me of how terrifying pee wee's big adventure was at 6 years old, more specifically the emergency room dream sequence with the clowns. fuck clowns.

I only banned one band from a club and that's it. The owner suggested it first and then changed his mind. I also changed my mind about doing shows there. Besides, the nationals hate that place and some refuse to play.

I'll try to make this short and simple. The bass player from Death Among Thieves was also playing in my boyfriend's ex-band, Psyren (he wasn't filling in, he WAS a member for a short time). I placed my boyfriend's band, Psyren on the Mojo bill. To make a long story short, the bass player from Death Among Thieves (and Psyren)decided to play another show on the same night and he wanted to tell everybody on stage to leave and come see his other band that night (1 hour later). The owner of the venue got mad because that takes peeps away from the bar. I didn't take any bar money for the show, so it wouldn't have mattered to me, but I did have an obligation to the venue owner. Well, my boyfriend and I told him to make a choice... the Stuck Mojo show or the local bar (no national) down the street. The bass player got pissed. because he couldn't do both and wrote this dumb ass blog about me which ended up on RTTP in a thread called "Don't Book this Band" The Rev can conform that I did not start that thread. The owner didn't want him on anymore bills at that club, due to him trying to take away draw from the bar. Therfore I wrote to Heavy Core and told them to take them off a future bill coming up (I was told to do that by the owner, plus I can't stand that band anyway, so I didn't bother me). This is what started all this hate on me from RTTP. Personally, they can play anywhere they want... I just won't work with them anymore, that's all. But I would NEVER tell anyone not to book a band (the owner ask me to not have him play, but he changed his mind later). I, in turn, also changed my mind about booking there for various reasons.

WRONG. The bartender let 40 people in for free at $20 bucks a ticket. that's an $800 loss. Of course I was pissed at the freeloaders. I could have made split point with Strapping Young Lad and Goatwhore... I got fucked, the bands got fucked, so I decided not to do biz there anymore. Moreover, The Asylum does not have aproblem with me and I never booked at the Ale House because it only holds 100 peepes. (it's closed now). You don't know the story. lata silly.

Bullshit, that last show at The Big Easy was SOLD OUT... they only hold 150 peeps and the count was 148 at a 21+ club on a Monday night. That bar made a fuckton of money. They canceled FBC because they were afraid of moshing and WCYY helped them out of it.

The Blob, I had fears of how the blob could just get infitly bigger and bigger and even if I escaped, it would one day envelop the earth.

some movie with medusa was scary too, it made me afraid of iced tea, I guess I was drinking iced tea at the time. I remember how I thought my grandparents were protecting the world by hiding these three horror movies in their cabinet, it was the original frankenstein, werewolf, and dracula.

I still think the classic horror movies are the most fear inspiring.
