Anyone out their play metal with a \\\"non-metal\\\" guitar? Examples: ES335, Jagstang, etc etc etc.


I was thinking of getting a guitar with a giant body or something very very non-metal, idunno.....

fender duo-sonic with a JB hotrails?

I'm tempted to grab a DC Les Paul with P-90's.

I forget the name brand, but I used to have this cool little guitar that had a small rectangular body, and no headstock. It was black. There was a little plastic piece on the bottom that popped out so you could sit down with it.
It sounded cool too, but I needed money and had to sell it.
I remember the singer of Fuck on the Beach played one.

My first guitar teacher used one. It sounded awesome.

chip from The Body plays a gretch semi-hollow, not metal at all, but sounds heavy as fuck.
i do most of my writing on a danelectro.

They still go for $1,000 + in good shape. They're pretty sought after....just not in Metal.

i use a red fender strat. looks gay as hell but sounds like a beast. its got a pearly gates pickup in the bridge so its got that old school sound.

someone should play with the same guitar in Back to the Future. that thing is so tiny.
