Original or new one>

toggletoggle post by hoser at Jul 19,2006 11:56pm
new one!

toggletoggle post by Dissector   at Jul 19,2006 11:59pm
Argh. The new one blew. I heard everybody say how good it was, I jus couldn't get into it.

toggletoggle post by hoser at Jul 20,2006 12:10am
Had me hangin' on pretty good....almost Tarantino funny.....like...wow.

toggletoggle post by Dissector   at Jul 20,2006 12:14am
It just wasn't as creepy as the original one.

toggletoggle post by hoser at Jul 20,2006 12:15am
Haven't seen the original, but you have spiked my curiosity!

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Jul 20,2006 12:16am
ditto

toggletoggle post by Dissector   at Jul 20,2006 12:17am
The new one had better gore, but that's to be expected since it was made 30 years after the original and special effects have came a long way.

toggletoggle post by SinisterMinister at Jul 20,2006 12:24am
The old one's premise was weaker than Godfather 3.

toggletoggle post by powerkok   at Jul 20,2006 3:46am
I liked it....cheesy as fuck, but thats what I was expecting.

toggletoggle post by powerkok   at Jul 20,2006 3:46am
The outhouse suicide was sweet.

best scene in the movie. that was insane.

toggletoggle post by Government_Agent at Jul 20,2006 10:15am
the best scene was the mutant sucking on a titty

that whole 'rape' scene was gay. it wasnt even scary or disturbing, just gratuitous to have the shock value of saying there was a rape scene in the movie.

toggletoggle post by litacore in the library at Jul 20,2006 11:35am
The original is worth seeing, Michael Berryman is in it

an ACTUAL mutant!

toggletoggle post by vomitthesoul  at Jul 20,2006 11:50am
Check out the original instead. The remake is just another one to add to the awful Hollywood new generation of horror remakes. The Omen 2006 blew dog also

thank you.

I'm confident that RTTP will back me on this:

the rape scene wasn't NEARLY long/detailed enough.

That bitch was hot and I wanted to see her get her salad tossed and vag pounded for the majority of the movie.

i didnt see it, but i heard from people who did that it was basically just a modernized version of the original. thats so pointless, although i heard it wasnt as pointless as the Psycho remake, but leave these classics alone. i'm waiting for things like the Spaceballs or The Goonies remakes. Hollywood will be firebombed if that was the case.

toggletoggle post by BornSoVile   at Jul 20,2006 4:14pm
I saw the original and loved it.

toggletoggle post by powerkok   at Jul 20,2006 4:18pm

toggletoggle post by christraper at Jul 20,2006 4:18pm
BABY'S FAT!!! YEEEEW'S FAT!!! FAT'N'JUICYYYYYY....uUuUuUuuuuuUuuungh.......

That movie came out and I said to my girlfriend "Hey let's go see The Hills Have Eyes." So we got in the car, drove down there, parked, paid for a ticket, got some popcorn, took our seats, watched the previews, and then about 10 seconds before the movie started I said to myself "Wait..... what the fuck am I doing?!!"

What followed was easily one of the dumbest movies I've ever seen in my life.

toggletoggle post by anonymous at Jul 20,2006 4:21pm
the remake is a stupid, predictable movie geared only to draw in audience on the basis of gore. i seriously almost barfed when the last line of the movie was "let's go home, kids." fuck mutants.

toggletoggle post by powerkok   at Jul 20,2006 4:24pm
predictable......well YA since its a remake!!!
LOL
but ya, Id agree it was not a screen gem....but then again, name a recent horror movie that is!!

toggletoggle post by powerkok   at Jul 20,2006 4:25pm
And....I will rent/buy a movie based on gore alone.
Thats just the way I ball......

Silent Hill. I can't stress enough how great that movie was and I've hated just about every zombie/videogame/gore type movie in the past 5 years.

toggletoggle post by powerkok   at Jul 20,2006 4:27pm
Really now??
I havent seen it.
I will though, thx.
Is it on dvd yet?

toggletoggle post by powerkok   at Jul 20,2006 4:29pm
Also....please tell me that its nothing like the gay resident evil flicks??
Please...

toggletoggle post by anonymous at Jul 20,2006 4:30pm
nothing like it.

toggletoggle post by powerkok   at Jul 20,2006 4:34pm
thats good...
P.s.
Goto blockbuster and rent
"the Shunned"

Chris Downs directional debut.....a western slasher gore flick.
The man is a genius.

toggletoggle post by xmikex at Jul 20,2006 4:43pm
Resident Evil movies are an episode of All In The Family compared to Silent Hill. Seriously, I've said it before and I'll say it again; Silent Hill is what every horror movie since the very invention of special effects has been trying to acheive. Absolutely brilliant.

toggletoggle post by powerkok   at Jul 20,2006 4:46pm
sweet.....is it out yet on dvd?
I spps I could google it...
ya Ill do that now.

toggletoggle post by powerkok   at Jul 20,2006 4:47pm
Comes out on dvd Aug 22nd.
cool

toggletoggle post by powerkok   at Jul 20,2006 4:47pm
PS All in the Family rules.

toggletoggle post by KeithMutiny  at Jul 20,2006 5:45pm
hoser, i understand you like it, but did you pick up on the complete political bias that the entire movie was based on?
