Anyone else suprised by this band? They just came out of no where and their debut album is amazing.

awesome band, dont know about the whole coming out of nowhere thing. theyre from NY. everything of theirs is golden. they need to actually come back to mass, considering its been over 2 years.

Yeah...they came out of nowhere if you discovered them at Hot Topic. Sorry dude...they've been around for quite a while. Stop going to Hot Flopic and get an identity....mall kid.

By the way....they are an awesome band....

they are amazing, but definitely did not come out of nowhere. i think since they are going to be touring with popular metalcore bands, all these kids who catch em on tour will think they 'discovered' some wicked underground, 'new' band.

they had a demo and were Boston-local when they were in Berklee over 5 years ago. Then they moved away to VA I think? Their debut CD has been out for a really long time, as well as a follow up EP since last year. The new disc is expected at the end of this year.

and yes they are amazing.

if everyone just had the good sense to buy everything Willowtip puts out there won't ever be this "came out of nowhere" debate again.

Willowtip is the shit They have a track record of pretty much not signing one bad band or putting out one bad CD.
