Jesus shitfuck...any of you who've known me for a while saw me go from waist length hair to a total #1 buzzcut; lately, I'd been trying to grow the hair and beard back out, unabomber style, and making quite nice progress. My lovely superiors at work told me monday that they had to "give me the rest of the summer off" due to budgetary problems, with hope of hiring me back in September. That's bullshit of course, so I'm back on the job market, and to begin interviewing I got all those months of hair chopped again. Fuck. I hate being a fucking slave. Sellin' out to the man........................AGAIN!!!

It's not even so much hair-length or whether or not that has anything to do with liking metal (I don't believe it does, as I've always dug the heavy regardless of my hair length); it's more the idea that I feel like I've sold out, gone against my own will, that's what bothers me. Fuck, I'm basically pimping myself for $. I could easily get a job anywhere looking however I want, as Dan mentions, but I'd make nowhere near what I've been making. I used to work for Newbury comics, long hair, piercings, metal shirts, etc., but made a Ramen noodle paycheck,even as an assistant mngr.

Sales manager for a medical imaging equipment company.....real fucking excitement, let me tell you....As soon as I get my master's degree, I'll be the fuck out of this field though, and the whole corporate slavery world.
