There have been quite a few shows I've missed as of late, some of which I'm really bummed about.

+ The Maryland Death Fest! Ugh! I knew I wasn't going to go to this because I'd already promised I'd be at Death in the Forest as soon as it was announced. It was a good time, absolutely, but what I'm hearing about the death fest this year... FUCK!

+ Destruction and Vader at the Midle East. How sad is it that I couldn't afford the $20 ticket price that week?

+ I didn't make it to the Tragedy show like I was going to, I was way too hungover and actually forgot about it! I could fucking kick myself.

+ I was all set to go to the Deceased show but that fell through. At least I ended up at a decent party... oh well.

+ And I know this is a hike and I doubt many of you were trying to get to this... but the fucking GOREGON MASSACRE FEST! As soon as it was announced a couple of friends and I devised a plan to take a road trip and get to this thing. I even got Jason to change the venue so it wasn't 21+ and I could get in. This became impossible a couple of months ago. I'm still pissed.

What shows have you missed lately and how beaten up about it are you?

i missed seeing finntroll and sodom because i can't afford a trip to new york. i would have liked to see both of those bands, but i'm not upset about it, shows aren't really that big a deal to me anymore.

Sodom is having another show at the same venue in August. Find a bunch of people to go with, take the Fung Wah, stay in a hostel, and you'll be set!
