we played this place tonight. Kind of in the middle of nowhere and the sound guy is really full of himself despite just doing an ok job.

how was the turnout?

pretty much null...40sls brought their crew and every other band brought like 1 or 2 people....it was tough cause ourselves and Orchestrate the Incident just got done playing 3 shows in the 3 days together...so people didn't need to see us 3 times this weekend I guess.


the guy at the club admitted that they weren't promoting themselves at all yet..."think of this as an audition show...to see if we want you to play again"

Dude oh man, for a sec i was about to say NO GO, i couldnt seem to find my little box with my bowl and stash are. If i had left it on the cape at my parents house it would take 2 months to calm down. But i was even more dumb enough to leave in the doorstep here coming back. Phew, we can give an honest performance now at this show, with out any pussy outbreaks.

It just sucks b/c it divides up the crowds a little, a lot of the bands are tightly knit, and a lot of the people will go to one that would go to the other, etc.

There will always be more shows, though.

yeah, it does screw up turnouts at shows, but it's better than nothing. i can't wait to get our drummer situation fully resolved so we can book some more shows. i miss playing live.
