AMON AMARTH ready to record sixth studio album!
Swedish Viking Death Metal heroes Amon Amarth have started recording their sixth full-length album. This time around the band has entered Fascination Street studio (Opeth, Soilwork) in their home country Sweden. Amon Amarth will record through June 14th with producer Jens Bogren.
There will be frequent updates with pictures from the recordings on their home page, so check often.
The yet untitled album is scheduled for release mid to end of September!
Please let it improve upon the gawdawful mediocrity of the last album, and let their downward slide cease with this. I haven't enjoyed a single album from this band since Once Sent... and The Avenger.
