Yeah there is this Russian movie, Nightwatch, finally being release in America, I saw the preview last summer when I went to see land of the dead. Guess what, as far as I have searched I have not found a sinlge theatre playing it withing forty miles of where I live.

Anyone know of any theatres playing it in the greater lowell, southern Nh, hell Boston area?

It was supposed to have opened at the Boston Common Lowes next week, but I guess the powers that be decided that people won't want to sit through over 3 hours of subtitles (which is true for most people in this country, unfortunately). It might open in New England theaters if it does well, but I doubt it will. Meanwhile, the sequel has just destroyed any and all Russian box office records. Now if only they could finally translate the books to English.

It is, however, playing a very limited engagement at Kendall Square starting the 24th.

Yeah I was told that it broke the all time record of top movie in Russia. i guess we will just have to wait til it comes out on dvd.

It's opening in Kendall Square (Cambridge) next weekend. You just have to be quick about it because it's only there for a week.
