Hey all you fuckin maniacs!!! Just wanted to check in with you to let ya know what's goin' on with SFU as of late. Hmmm let's see... been doin a lot of press the past month, including an interview and photo session for REVOLVER in which I carved up a freshly killed pig!!!! What'll they think of next... gettin ready for the release of BRINGER OF BLOOD... and it's about time; all this waiting is fuckin getting to me!! Wanna get out on the road and play this new shit and watch you all freak the fuck out!! We had a great time on tour in Europe last month... had a lot of fun at the WITH FULL FORCE fest and GRASPOP -- we have just booked a US tour that will kick off 2nd week in Oct. Keep checking back for tour dates and full tour lineup; they'll be up real soon. We will be heading up to Canada this time around; so all you north of the border will get a dose of the 6. Also we are very proud to have just confirmed a local show here in Tampa on Saturday Sept. 6th at CLUB VENOM to benefit JAMES MURPHY. SFU will be headlining the show and ALL PROCEEDS will go directly to James. We just wanted to do whatever we could to help because it's not fair when something like this happens to anyone especially to a great musician and friend. CANNIBAL CORPSE
We are pleased to confirm that Paul and Jack's side-project PATH OF MAN will be performing at the James Murphy Benefit on September 6, 2003. The event will take place at Venom Night Club in St. Petersburg, Florida. This will be the 3rd gig for the band. Frontman James Rivera, and bass player Vernon Blake complete the line-up. Expect to see Cannibal Corpse on the No Mercy tour in March/April 2004 across Europe along with HYPOCRISY, KATAKLYSM, CARPATHIAN FOREST, and VOMITORY among others. The dates will be announced once they get confirmed.

Ex-BLACK DAHLIA MURDER bassist Dave Lock and vocalist Trevor Strnad and Ex-KALIBAS member Jody Roberts are currently seeking a drummer for a full-time death metal project, with influences ranging from MALEVOLENT CREATION, MONSTROSITY, and HATE ETERNAL to "Divine Intervention"-era SLAYER. The drummer must be able to blast and have tremendous double-bass skills. Lock and Strnad are "looking for people who are willing to tour extensively, record, and all of the other Metal Blade trimmings. No drugs, please. Must relocate to Michigan." Lizzy Borden Hits House of Blues with L.A. Guns
On September 12th, the House of Blues on Sunset strip will see a dream line up of veterans of the metal stage. Lizzy Borden will join L.A. Guns and The Bullet Boys for a night of rock that will not soon be forgotten!

The last six months has seen Lizzy Borden hold up in the studio creating their newest masterpiece. This show will give the band a chance to show off many of the tracks from the forth coming as of yet untitled release. "We have been working hard in the studio on these new songs. This is a perfect opportunity for us to showcase them for the fans and get some feedback." Lizzy is planning on releasing the record in the first part of the 2004.

Filling in on the guitar for this performance is ex-Diamond Dogs guitarist Joe Steals. Joe has been doing a stellar job filling in one a few shows and in the studio, but the hunt for a new guitarist to permanently fill out the ranks of Lizzy Borden continues. THE HEAVILS
"Saturday we played at Nite Caps in Chicago, IL. It seems every show we have been playing is better than the last one. Nite Caps had to turn people away because they went past the fire capacity that the bar could hold. It was a small stage but a fun show. Corey Taylor from Slipknot won the Jagermeister Guitar giveaway. We met Lionel Ritchie at the Chinese restaurant that we ate at before the show. Marilyn Manson, Corey, Pair and Amy from Suspect made the trip. We will be having another giveaway at one of the next shows. We will be loading into Jonny B's this Tuesday to start preparing Demo's for the next album." - Milo
