then I can use this thing on my radio show to play new music that people post before they send me CDs.

for those of you who don't know, I want one of these so I can load mp3s up on them and then play then on air. currently, it's possible for me to play mp3s from the back computer... but it's a bit difficult running between 2 studios to play mp3s while taking, etc..

the offers are like $10 each in the end if you cancel them on time.

yeah there's not one friggen thing on here I can really do. The only MAYBE is some 1 dollar 7 day trial BS...but they make you call to cancel it, which I don't trust. I already have Netflix and it's cheaper than Blockbuster...guess I'll have to keep an eye out for when the offers change up.

I'm going to email the 40+people that signed up and offer them a free rttp t-shirt if they complete an offer.

the only thing that I like better about bb is that you get offers/deals with the actual store.

yeah that's what I thought was cool. right now cause we're so monetarily challenged, we just have the 1 at a time 9.99 thing from netflix but I desperately miss the 3 at a time, and it's cheaper with BB. Do you have it Rev? speedy shipping? cause I'm impatient.

i found netflix faster...but it depends on where you live..i also think netflix has a better selection...
BUT about blockbuster...we somehow ended up "never getting" ahem some movies and jsut kept them..they don't charge you if you say you didn't get them

oh and aaron...before you go around emailing 40 people...you should state the FIRST 3 people to complete an offer get a shirt..i dunno...but i'd ask in smaller groups...

rev if you just want to be able to play a bunch of songs try an mp3 cd you can fit roughy 7-10 cds on them... im sure WUNH would have a cd player capible of paying mp3s.... what size would you be looking at for the ipod

mp3 CDs do not play on WUNH's cd-players. we use $1200 "industrial" CD players. these things last 3-5 years before their motors/lasers need to be replaced.


these are currently the only CD players that we use. though I have a pile of faux "industrial stregth" CD players that we used prior to these ones. I'll give you a hint on why we use these. take your home stereo CD player and take the CD in and out ever minute or so, slamming the door shut. continue this until the unit breaks.

also, I want the ipod to get rid of wasting CDRs each week that I just scratch up and then loose/don't label/throw away.

ipods are nice i currently have 1787 songs on it and it isnt even half full!
it is worth the investment but if you can get one for free thats awsome

basically, I was to try to get one free for this purpose. if not, I will end up spending like $370 that I don't have on a 60gb video iPod.

3556 songs and its only a little under a third full

I advise getting a Speek/Speck/whatever case for it. Its thick black rubber (looks like a tire tread) and has a hard plastic window for the screen...GREAT invenstment...i could hurl my ipod hdown the street and nothing would happen to it

i have 4488 songs on mine, as well as scarface, charlie and the chocolate factory, 2 snowboarding flicks, hitchikers guide to the galaxy, the family guy movie, and requiem for a dream. And its not half full.

^^^ m0e, you might want to check that out, if youve got a video capable ipod. Also, the case you were talking about for it, its great, until a little piece of sand gets in there, and scratches your ipod to hell. So make sure you clean it.
