well you know what? those 350's get like 26 mpg highway. thats not so bad at all for like 300 hp. actually... the new corvette z06 gets 25-26 mpg highway... thats a car with 505 horsepower and 427 cubic inches (7.0 l) of muscle. |

I got a 5.7hemi modified w/ 400hp that's estimated to get 18mpg, but it aint gonna happen unless i only drive on the highway. EPA estimates are never right. That vette will be getting more like 8-10mpg. |

i hate vans. I just bought a 2005 VW Touareg and it cost me a pretty penny but I am very happy. The last one in the lot and we played "Let's make a real good deal" and I won. I doubt i won but i felt like i did damn car salesman!!!!!
But Honda is probably one of the most reliable Jap car on the market next to Toyota. Oh did I mention the Touareg is fuckin incredible! |

car and driver did a test with the new z06, viper srt 10, and ford gt...
i believe total combined test fuel mileage was something like... 15 (its been a couple months since i read that issue)
maybe it was 13, i dont know 100% but it wasnt 10 and it wasnt less than 10. i hate chevy's anyway. except caprice wagons. those (and the roadmaster/custom cruiser) i love.

2006 Piolt is a VERY good car from what everyone tells me. Lots of people own them and rave about them. The CR-V is also top rated as well and everyone and their mother has one but I hate the looks of the CR-V but hey you buy a Honda or Toyota I hear you'll have it for a very long time! |
