now this was a motherfucking video game. games were actually fun up until they started using all this 3-D bullshit and basically forgoing any and all unjoyment factor of the games in favor of pretty graphics.

here's another game that needs to come back. BLASTER MASTER.



drive around in your tank kiling plutonium mutant monsters, get out of the tank and kill monsters in a cave, eventually power up the tank so it can fly and you can kill more plutonium mutants. good childhood memories.




BIONIC COMMANDO

motherfuckin robot arms and machine guns and shit. flying gunships that guard nuclear reactors cores until you blow up the reactor by shooting it three times. fly around in your helicopter avoiding trucks.





and then in the end, adolf hitler gets ressurected and you blow up his fucking face.





who the hell cares about supermario bros no. 7597508475623489057623576? it was gay then, and remaking it in 3-D just adds another dimension of gay.

splatterhouse definately needs to be remade. i had that awhile ago, but i lost it.

They shouldn't remake games in the sense that they should be given these huge 3d, completely change the gameplay crap, I'd rather see the games re-released with with just slicker graphics like they've done with the first few Final Fantasy games.

Actually, I think if anyone tried to remake those games, they'd just ruin them, their cheesyness was part of their charm. Those fight scenes in Blades of Steel are priceless.

a game i'd love to see remade, thought not violent at all, and a reallllly dumb game, would be any of the ToeJam and Earl games....... i used to waste so much time playing those on my sega.

i dunno about games getting remade, because I'd rather just play the originals or an emulator, but I think it's awesome that the Revolution will be completely backwards compatible and let you play any Nintendo game ever.

Also, the only game I've been really excited about in a long time is the Gamecube's swan song: The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. I'm pretty sure it will be the best game I have every played.
