KING DIAMOND tour to kick off in October 2003!
Metal Maniacs has been announced as the official presenter of the upcoming King Diamond tour in Fall of 2003. King will be touring in support of his latest record "The Puppetmaster" which will be released through Metal Blade records prior to the tour. King Diamond will be presenting one of their most elaborate performances to date. Sweden's own Entombed will be performing on all the North American dates.

"We pulled off the Soilent Green tour because Dave (bass player) quit the band. We're currently practicing with our new bassist Joe Boccuto (Set Ablaze). The rumors about us breaking up are definitely not true... there are just some changes being made. We'll be hitting the road again on the 25th to join Arch Enemy on the Anthems of Rebellion tour. "Last Friday we played our first time ever with Death Angel one of my all time favorite bands since I was 14. I didn't really know what kind of reaction we were going to get because of such different styles of music. That and this was our new bass players first show with 40GRiT. He was a nervous wreck haha but to our surprise it was a GREAT FUCKING SHOW! He fucking rocked the house! I think everyone got to see why we picked him. I hope in the near future we get to hit the stage with one of the best live bands again. The night after I was asked by Powerslave.com to be a part of the birthday bash. I was asked to do "Wasted Years" from none other than IRON FUCKING MAIDEN!!! I was a wreck that night because I had to learn the solo the same day and all five members that were picked to jam the song have never practice with each other. So our first time was for the sound check and it was fucking great! I love maiden and to jam it on stage was a great experience. " - Chris
