This is Pete from the Bludgeoning (f.k.a. "Hail Plankton") I was wonder if theres any thrash (or death or black) metal bands that are interested in playing a show at Clark University here in Worcester with our band. The campus has a place called "the Grind" that we have booked for thursday night November 17th with the intention of playing a show with a couple of bands that have since found out that they wont be able to play that date. Right now it's looking like just us and Hatchet and I would love to have at least one more band on the bill. it could be YOU!

"The Grind" is actually a pretty decent sized for a place thats essentially the cafeteria' s basement. Could hold a good few hundred or so. The place doesnt serve alcohol (or anything for that matter) but that also means we can make it an all ages show.

anyways get back to me asap if youre interested or if u know any other bands in the area who play EXTREMELY fast/heavy metal and are looking for shows in the near future. At this point im just going to ask a handful of bands to play and go with whoever can comfirm the quickest. ok. i just got contact from throwing shrapnel and theyre going to be added to the bill. I was thinking three bands is enough but if your band totally kicks ass and you reeallly want to play ill still at least hear you out.

With luck, Hatchet will have the new guitarist, they are trying someone out tonight, a great player from the area. This will give a much needed, more crushing sound.

some of the fellas names in hatchet sound familiar. have they been in other bands around before?

Jeff and I were in Dungeonbat a few years back...for the others I believe it is their first band. Also, I am the only member who is not a tattoo artist.

Oh yeah, I think Abhorred should play this with us. Those guys rule. Have you asked them yet?

im glad u guys are interested and im sorry but like I said above we already got a response and arent looking for anymore bands for this particular show. hope youll come out an enjoy it all the same.
