I saw Dio w/Sabbath on the "Heaven and Hell" and "Mob Rules" tours...and both were awesome.

I'm sure he was great on those earlier Sabbath tours. But I saw Dio 2 years ago. He was retarded. I screamed for him to get off stage and let Lemmy and the boyz come back on.

In my opinion Dio is the biggest waste of a great voice (and he has a great voice, do not get me wrong) I have ever heard. Aside from a few Rainbow songs and a little bit of the Sabbath he did, I am just not a fan of this guy. I won't even get into his lyrics, amongst the worst I have ever read. I have never seen an artist's CDs filling the used metal bin at record stores in decades as I have Ronny James Dio (except maybe Six Feet Under). There has to be a reason...

He did not have a rubber dragon or a sword, sadly. However he DID have his drummer play a solo along with the star-spangled banner....that was the gayest thing I have ever seen at a live show. And I have seen Ugly Kid Joe.

Needless to say, pure disappointment after having my head blown off by Motorhead with 'Killed by Death', 'Metropolis', etc. Fortunately Maiden kicked ass too, or at least they did in between Bruce's rants about Wal*Mart and everything else wrong with America.

dio sucks the fattest of ones. black sabbath is my favorite band of all time (only with ozzy though), but they should have stopped a long ass time ago. i'm glad dio isn't rejoining; i don't think anyone should. as drinkhard said, call it a day.
