this place is 21+ but from the shows i've played there it's much like the safari lounge and they only card you if you go get something from the bar. so dont be dumb and drink in there just go and enjoy the show

well like i said we've played there three times and not once had someone watching the door...but then again we'ved only played thursdays so it could be different for weekends

i'll know for sure this weekend. we've played shows that were 18+ on the weekends they just need a certain permit or something. I've been hounding the local booker about it so hopefully that all worked. like i said earlier in another thread, i'll be going up there in person sometime this weekend to find out for sure

I just saw the Cryptic Warning news....WHY?? noooooo. Terrible. I'm so glad I will be there.

I dont think theyre actually breaking up, just assuming a different name or something. I would imagine all the lineups that have been posted so far have been presented in the actual schedule form for which the bands are going to appear. If we (a band that no one knows/hardly cares for/have only played 3 times)dont play 1st before everyone shows p Id say some one really dropped the ball making the lineup, hahahah

it definitely has to be 21+...i was told something about underage kids drinking at the last one, which i'm pretty sure is bullshit but i'm looking into it

if anyone has a need to go on early or won't get there until later let me know...i can make arrangements to ensure everyone gets a time that works for them

We (smite the righteous) and the accursed can't really go back to back. We share a drummer and don't want to kill him. He said he CAN do it if need be, but a break might help. He has a rack so we can just take the kit on and off without any trouble.

that's fine...i pretty much redid the whole lineup they gave me at the last one, and considering circumstances such as those it surely won't be a problem

negative...the set times aren't decided yet, unless everyone has an exact idea of when they want to play and then i can just tell the club in advance...i think it's better to wait though because sometimes people can be late due to shitty circumstances and what not

we definately need to know soon when we're playing, we all work that day and have a 2 hour drive to get there. We can't just kinda find out last minute. We can't really open because I'm afraid we'll be late or something will go wrong (like the flat tire we got last trip to fitchburg)

well i can promise that you guys won't go on first

if it's ok with everyone i'll just have that previously mentioned lineup be the one for the show

I like the amended lineup, we dont mind playing second, we just want people to be present when we play

we also wouldnt mind playing later on, as it is our cd release show....if any of the bands would be willing to play second???? that would rule!

there's also another thing...would you guys want longer sets...to start later...or to end earlier?

we have some extra time since there are only 5 bands

We will still have a farewell show and hopefully that will be set up soon.

Oh man that sucks about cryptic warning, that be cool if you guys(bloodstruck) could get on it or even sacreligion. we wouldnt mind having a longer set, weve got 6 songs averaging at 4 and a half mins and one of the 6 being 7 and a half. We would been able to do that in half and hour but it would be cooler if i could actually talk in between songs.

So what is happening with the lineup then? I know we are bringing a good handfull of people from amherst and we got on the bill for this show pretty early. Whatever that is worth. In any case who is it that is setting up the show?

Are we still getting longer sets if one other band joins?And if some one else joins would it be possible they play 1st , cause we were kinda depending on using one of the other bands bass amps. The accursed i think or smite, and they seemed to both be worried about showin up late earlier on in this thread.Yea thatd be cool if bloodstruck joined, mike keeps complaining about us having not played with them yet.

OK...this show is a mess. We NEED a line up, it's the night before, I don't know what to tell everyone!! Ahhh!

We will get there before 8pm if it kills us. No one wants to open because of turnout (we are traveling the furthest I think, that was where the late concern comes in, it's a 2 hour or more drive for us.) so since Cryptic Warning dropped off why not start the show later? Then there will be people there and everyone will be happy.

All in all we need a line up, it's wicked last minute, we're meeting up with people here, meeting up with friends on the way. I have no idea of how to plan everything if I don't know what time everything is happening. PLEASE can we figure this out.

We can go back to back with the accursed, our drummer said he would rather, less moving drums. He does double sets all the time. If that helps.

I wouldn't say that we have to headline or something. I just wanted to know what the deal is. If the show starts later it starts to not matter as much i guess. So how much later is it going to start? Maybe if the drummer for the accursed/smite the righteous really wants that break between sets we could play in between the two bands? I dunno playing second is also good if the shows starts late and the whole double set thing is what you want to do.

babyshaker, I'm in STR (obviously, haha)

STR is playing tonight, but without me. My little sore throat last night has quickly plumeted into the sickest I've been in....I don't even know. I'm trying to pump myself up to at least go, but no promises there. I can barely sit up. My drummer, who did the vocals on our demo, will probably do the vocals tonight, shorter set. I feel so fucking bad, I am so sorry. I've been looking forward to this for months, I am absolutely crushed I can't play. I thought about just trying until I blacked out but we have a show tomorrow too, so if resting will grant me that show, I am going to try for that.

I may come anyway and just waste away on the futons. This fucking sucks.

what a fucking great show! Thanks a million Sac for hooking us up. I can't believe I managed to pull off a set. I am suffering right now but it was totally worth it. That was the first show I've played that all the bands watched all the other bands, everyone was tight, and happy to be there. It was a fucking pleasure.

Coffin Birth- Fucking awesome as always, sounded even better tonight than the last time I saw them! Thanks to Anthony for helping out on our fake out Cannibal Corpse intro. haha. You probably have my germs now though, sucker.

Deathamphetamine- I heard these guys were good but I didn't expect them to be as good as they were! They were sick. I had to take a few breaks to lay down but I was still watching!! So, so, awesome. And had nice things to say about us, which was really cool of them.

The Accursed- absolutely the best show I've seen them do in years. Tighter than a nuns twat. Excellent job. They dragged out their set toward the end to further irritate the dicks at the bar who wanted quiet (that's what happens when you're old) which was funny.

I don't even know how I'm awake right now, I'm gonna go die now.

oh and I totally remember you babyshaker. That was the worst show ever. Nothing like playing to 50 emocore kids that want nothing more than for you to stop playing. Painful.
