I contacted the departed and told them, i thought they had a hand in putting the show together. sorry for the mix up. but yeah, our singer lives in VA and has some family things to attend to, and will be unable to make it up, we recently played a show with a fill in singer, and it didn't go over so hot so we don't want to do that again. If any one wants to make our singer feel bad go for it, his myspace is www.myspace.com/robsheol. trust me we don't like cancelling shows. again my apologies.

Yep, Matt from the Departed got a hold of me about 10 minutes after this post, he did book this show. Congrats on the baby for him, hope he can still keep the band going while he's got a kid...no need to make him feel bad, he's gonna have a kid...that'll have enough ups and downs for him to make up for cancelling a show about 100-fold.
sorry Tom, for not believing you right off the bat...I know you don't particularly like the departed and don't know you well enough to know whether or not you'd lie about something like that just to fuck with them. In the end, thanks for giving me an early heads up. |
