WOW, people like metal in Newport!?!?!? heh, i use to date a girl that had an apt there for 6mo. - i always thought of newport as a ritzy area (which it is) but where she lived her neighbors were um... well the area she was in was not good hence why they moved out in 1/2year. i think the road was called pearl st. but don't quote me on that. i would ask her but i haven't spoken to her in 2yrs.

YES, right behind the police station. there was some weird restaurant there, Asian somethin. I use to live in Natick, MA and met my ex from college (BU) and for whatever reason she wanted to move to Newport but there really was nothing she could do for work there. she lived there for 1/2yr with her roomate until they got robbed and then she moved back to Bellingham, MA where I think she now lives.

So what is there to do in Newport for work? I'm just curious. Its cool to visit but I don't know if I'd live there.
