Awesome show. Got some pretty good seats courtesy of dio.

Motorhead: Caught them about halfway through their set, and got to see them play ace of spades. I missed them completely at the morbid angel show last year which I don't regret at all.

Dio: Ronnie James, fuckin guy is like early 60's and still can fuckin rock.

Iron Maiden: Unfortunately I missed the first hour or so of their set due to having to wait for Dio to show up to the aftershow party. Missed The Trooper, Hallowed Be Thy Name, and Number of the Beast, but I did catch Run To The Hills, Bring Your Daughter to the Slaughter, Fear of the Dark ect.


My highlight of the night was meeting Ronnie James Dio's wife w00t w00t...hehhe.

i missed Motorhead i guess... which is ok because i was there to see Dio and Maiden anyway... Maiden ruled and Dio did as well... even all the way up in the nose bleed section the show fucking OWNED. cool pic rustedpeehole

I missed Dio, and Motorhead. I was pissed. I was more into seeing Motorhead than anyone but I was busy drinking. Oh well, I've seen them three times anyway.

Maiden=awesome, but could have made a way better set list. No Aces High??? Bring Your Daughter as an encore????!!!???? Errrrrrrrrr

Opened with Number of the Beast into the Trooper then Die with your Boots on. Fuckin A.

how come Caught Somewhere in Time and Only the Good Die Young gets no love from Maiden live at all? those are my two favorite songs by them... and yeah... no aces high was fucking weird. i also would have loved to see INVADERS. such an awesome song...

two other weird things.

We met Dio's guitar player and he's all about Jesus. How fucked up is that? I flipped horns in the picture, he flips a thumbs up?

Dio's drummer shouldn't have done the solo, it was horrible.

I shold have asked for a photo pass so I could have got some cooler pictures, but o well. Maybe I'll try harder once/if I get a good camera.

nuthn off powerslave, nuthn off somewhere in time, nuthn off 7th son...t shirts were 35 bux and dickinson was gay in Irish Times bar....I hope they die....

it was cool i guess...they started out real strong they opened with the number of the beast then the trooper then die with youre boots on then revilation...but then they went down hill...not one fucking song from somewhere in time....what the fuck is that all about....and nothing from powerslave...whatever i was pissed,and that dumb fucking 3rd guitarist barely played...he just frolicked around like an ass piriate and swang his guitar over his head like forty times...its like if you werent so buisy looking like a fucking jackoff maybe it would be cool. otherwise they sounded the balls. now i play in a doom/deathmetal band ...and man maiden was fucking hella fucking loud,when i left my ears were pounding. after the show we ran into bruce at the bar accross the street and everyone was like excuse me but are you bruce dickenson...i love you.when i come over and flipped out on him about not playing s.i.t. or powerslave shit. it was kinda funny,but overall a great night. finally the metal scene is coming back there were like shitloads of metal people it was cool to see.ohh and maiden totally ragged on metallica that was cool \m/
