Not a metal show (who can turn down a chance for some good old fashioned spamming) but Major Stars will be playing at a free show on Labor Day near Stetson Hall at Northeastern with WRBB. Also performing will be Sasquatch and the Sick-A-Billys, Freezepop, and Insight and Edan. It starts at 6, and any support would be very much appreciated!

The music staff gets together and goes after our favorite local acts each year. Major Stars is an awesome southern/stoner/drunk rock band...very heavy and intense live. I don't know much about Sasquatch and the Sick-A-Billys, other than that they are obviously a rockabilly act, but one of our staff gals swears by them, so it should be interesting. Freezepop is cheesy synth-pop, but in a very fun way, and I think, though I might be wrong, that their lead singer is related to one of the guys in Id in some way, sister maybe? Insight and Edan are quickly becoming hip-hop staples in Boston, and they perform very well together so it usually makes for a good show.

It's free, and you're probably near campus anyway, so drop in.
